I am deeply concerned that after four years of seeing with their own eyes and experiencing with their own lives, people continue to treat Donald Trump and the current Republican Party in the 2020 election like any other election. It is not a normal election, and they are not a normal president and normal party. What more do these people have to do to convince you?

The Senate leadership of the Republican Party continues its partisan agenda of confirming judges while American citizens die, starve, are evicted, and beaten.

The President lies and creates false crises while ignoring actual emergencies.

The President says he will not abide by the results of the election unless he wins.

Members of the Republican Party, including sitting members of Congress, the Senate, the Executive, and the President call for extrajudicial killings.

Part of the United States Government and its members performed acts on people identical to those convicted and sentenced to death by the Nuremberg war crimes tribunal after the Second World War. Members of the Republican Party and the President shrug and say on record that it doesn’t matter.

The President of the United States calls for the same type of nationalist indoctrination done by Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia. The reaction is nothing, from either the media, the nominally patriotic Republican Party, or the nominally opposition Democratic Party.

The Republic of the United States is dying, and all I can do is document the fall and hope that something better replaces it in the end.
