Professor Evens started with their usual question, “So, David, Julie, what progress do you have to report on your experiments this week?”

“We have detected variances in the Scalar Dimensional Field when we apply heavy crossing fields of Gravitation and Reality at a low dimensional energy point.” Answered Julie,

“But when we do this, there is a significant weakening of the Reality field and a spike of uncontrolled Gravitational field strength at that point.” Continued David, “this change does not fit the theory. Both of us feel that we need to move the experiment away from possible field interference. Or we need to have additional low energy research to refine the approach before continuing with the high energy research.”

“Hmm, I will approve moving your work to the universities deep space experimental station. That will put it five parsecs from the nearest major gravity and reality field source and twelve parsecs from the nearest dimensional field source. That should give a flat enough field to continue with the high-energy experiments. The high council is very interested in seeing results from these experiments, and you are not the only team working on this breakthrough. Please focus your efforts on making some progress.”

With that, they abruptly dismissed the junior scientists.
