Good article, interesting thoughts and I agree with your ideas about prejudice in our entertainment choices. I had a fair number of those when I was younger, but have branched out as I grew older and realized that restricting my reading was hurting me. That the more kinds of entertainment I tried the more kinds I would discover. I have still found some that I can’t stand, modern musicals are just not to my taste, older musicals — Fred and Ginger were great. The recent attempts, anything past oh Grease, is not for me, I tried…but nope.
