I am following you because of the off chance that you might say something interesting. I know that even the occasional posters can come up with the most insightful comments and articles. By following you I will be in the loop so to speak if you happen to drop one of these gems. It is easy to find the interesting stuff by the authors who post long insightful articles that get thousands of claps, those are the ones that make the front page. It is harder to find the quiet little gems that might get twenty or thirty claps but are by themselves worth the effort to read and respond to an occasional poster.

I hope this explains why I would follow someone who hasn’t posted in months, you still might have an insight worth hearing.
