I hate to be a wet blanket, but I can only think that some of these are the least useful changes I have ever heard.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I read and type at least an order of magnitude faster and more accurately than I speak. One of my pet peeves is the prevalence of video training rather than online text documentation for quite a few products anymore.
Having to watch or listen through a video or ask questions of an interactive voice system to perform a task sounds like a big step backward to me.
I can see the use in conjunction with AR or VR and gesture-based commands. Also, in specific situations where my hands are busy, or I need non-screen interaction — driving, using power-tools, possibly cooking. But as a general interface to replace all button, keyboard, touchscreen, and pointing devices? I hope not.
