My incredible frustration with this and other articles like it is that I was writing about the similarity between the cult of Trump and pre-World War II Germany and Italy in 2015 when he first started campaigning. My articles got zero reads, my conversations with friends and family gained zero traction. To the point where many of those same people are now dedicated turmpists. I cry for my country and the blinders and ignorance that led to this state.
