As a physicist and engineer, I thought I understood the fundamental particles and forces that made up the universe. As a creator, I discovered I was wrong. My senses were fine enough to watch the interaction of Planck-level interactions and see the discrete packets of energy that made up the universe. I quickly discovered that I could adjust my sense of time to slow down or speed up my perception to watch events unfold in real-time, slow motion, or high speed. Soon I had found that I could rewind and replay time itself, rewatching exciting events. Even reaching into the maelstrom of energy that is an early universe and pushing or twisting particles to see what would happen. The entire universe as my personal experiment I spent eons in my personal timeline. However, to the external universe’s clock was less than a second, playing with my creation, learning the fundamental forces that drive this universe, what if any limits I had, and how to use this suite of powers I had by virtue of being the creator of the universe.

It made me stop and think for a long moment, what about my home universe? Was there some being that had played with the settings and early forces in that universe? If so, where were they? And was I fated to follow the same path?

All questions I would need to ponder, but in the meantime, let’s see what happens if I let things proceed a bit farther…

To be continued…
