I sat at the back of the broken asphalt-covered playground as usual. I sat back here to avoid the typical high-school politics of gangers, preps, and wannabe senator’s kids trying to see who would run the school this week. I was just listening to my net feed waiting for lunch to end when it was interrupted by a buzzing tone that grabbed attention. What the hell? Was something wrong with my implants?
