This seems just insane to me. When and where did these men grow up? What you are describing isn’t even rejection in the old way of thinking, it’s just the kind of stuff that happened while you decided if both people were comfortable enough to even talk about sitting down for a first non-date. You know the friendly cup of coffee or get together with a group of friends where both of you are in attendance. Then you can talk and see if both of you are interested. It seems that civilized behavior has been lost since I last looked into the dating scene. Oh well, I guess I am just old.
