Sometimes the world whacks you in the face. I was just walloped. So, hard I am having trouble writing. A brief explanation is in order. Earlier this summer, I got a notice from the city where I live that I had let my lawn get too long and that if I didn’t cut it, they were going to come and cut it for me for an exorbitant charge.
